Straight forward steel fermented Chardonnay from the same rows as the 2011 100% 76 clone. A much warmer year that last which required picking early at low brix to get the right acid balance. A rounder mouthfeel than the 2011 with significantly fruity undertones. We brought out even more flavor by keeping the lees suspended by frequent stirring and used the same yeast and fermentation protocol as last year without passing through malolactic to dryness.
